Ingredients
  

  • 4 Hot dogs
  • 4 Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying) 
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • Ketchup (for serving) – to taste
  • Mustard (for serving) – to taste

Instructions
 

  • Insert a skewer into each hot dog and mozzarella cheese stick.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder. Whisk in milk and eggs until smooth.
  • Dip each hot dog and cheese stick into the batter, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the corndogs until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Roll in sugar while still hot.
  • Drizzle with ketchup and mustard before serving.
