Garlic Parmesan Salmon
We adore baking salmon as a whole fillet in the oven. It's the simplest method of preparation and presenting it at a dinner party always makes a striking impression. Allow everyone to dig in with a fork and portion out their own servings in a communal fashion. This salmon dish is generously coated with garlic and Parmesan, creating a beloved and timeless flavor combination. Best of all, the cooking time is perfectly convenient.
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
- 1/4 c. finely grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (3-lb.) salmon fillet
- Lemon wedges, for erving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. In a small bowl, mix together oil, parsley, Parmesan, and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
- Place salmon on prepared baking sheet and brush garlic mixture all over salmon.
- Cover with foil and bake until salmon is cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with more Parmesan and serve with lemon wedges.
