Fruit Raita is a cooling and creamy yogurt-based side dish made by combining fresh seasonal fruits like apples, bananas, pomegranate, and grapes with curd (yogurt) and mild spices. Lightly sweet and mildly spiced, it offers a perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, and crunch. Often served chilled, fruit raita complements spicy Indian meals and is a popular addition during summers or festive meals.

Ingredients
  

  • Curd – 1½ cup
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Mango diced – 1cup
  • Ice Cubes – few
  • Banana chopped – ¼ cup
  • Grapes (chopped) – few
  • Anar – ¼ cup
  • Pista chopped – handful
  • Almonds chopped – handful
  • Vanilla extract – ½ tsp

Instructions
 

  • Begin by taking the curd in a blender, add in the sugar and diced mangoes and ice. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer this into a bowl and add fruits of your choice like banana, grapes, and Anar. Next add in some chopped pista and almonds and a little vanilla extract.
  • Mix this well and transfer into the serving bowl. Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve.
