Costa Rican Bolitas de Coco Recipe
Bolitas de coco is a Costa Rican treat made from a blend of butter, condensed milk, and shredded coconut.
Ingredients
- Grated coconut – 250g
- Grated coconut (for garnishing) – 100g
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Condensed milk – 1 can
Instructions
- Place a pot over low heat.
- Add the shredded coconut, butter and condensed milk.
- Mix until it forms into a ball.
- Remove from heat, let cool and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Divide into 20 balls.
- Roll them in grated coconut and serve in liners.
