
Cocoa, Banana, and Peanut Butter Smoothie
This nutritious banana-chocolate smoothie recipe is perfect for a protein-packed post-workout refresher or an energizing afternoon boost. You won't require any additional protein supplements!
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- ½ chopped frozen banana, or more to taste
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
- Blend together milk, frozen banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and honey in a blender until smooth.
Notes
You can substitute unsweetened almond milk for milk if desired.
You can replace the banana with 1/2 of an avocado if desired.
You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or cinnamon to make the cocoa powder “pop.”
