Bak Lohong is a traditional Cambodian salad made with green papaya, tomatoes, long beans, and a spicy, tangy dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Green papaya (shredded)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup Long beans (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1-2 Fresh chili (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Palm sugar
  • 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • In a mortar and pestle, pound garlic and chili until a paste forms.
  • Add lime juice, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded papaya, cherry tomatoes, and long beans.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts before serving.
