Cambodian Bok Lahong Recipe
Bak Lohong is a traditional Cambodian salad made with green papaya, tomatoes, long beans, and a spicy, tangy dressing.

- 2 cups Green papaya (shredded)
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1 cup Long beans (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1-2 Fresh chili (sliced)
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp Palm sugar
- 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts (chopped)
In a mortar and pestle, pound garlic and chili until a paste forms.
Add lime juice, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
In a large bowl, combine shredded papaya, cherry tomatoes, and long beans.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts before serving.
