Ingredients
  

  • All-purpose flour – 4 cups
  • Butter (softened) – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Eggs – 2
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Ground almonds or walnuts – 2 cups
  • Powdered sugar – 1 cup
  • Cardamom (ground) – 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Beat in sugar and eggs, followed by milk, to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine ground nuts, powdered sugar, and cardamom for the filling.
  • Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold into a crescent, and seal the edges.
  • Decorate the surface with patterns using a fork or special tool.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • Let cool before serving.
