Avocado Tomatillo Salsa

Drizzle this incredibly straightforward green sauce over grilled pork tacos, meats, or use it as a dip for chips.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces fresh tomatillos – husked, rinsed, and halved
- 1 large ripe avocado – halved, seeded, and flesh scooped out of the peel
- ¼ cup packed cilantro leaves
- ½ lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced serrano chile pepper, or to taste
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Place tomatillos into a food processor. Add avocado, cilantro, lime juice, serrano pepper, and salt. Process until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, then transfer to a serving bowl.
