Ingredients
  

  • Apples (cored and peeled) – 4
  • Walnuts (chopped) – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Whipped cream – for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring water, sugar, and lemon juice to a boil.
  • Add the apples and simmer until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the apples and let cool. Reserve the syrup.
  • Mix chopped walnuts with a bit of the reserved syrup to form a sticky filling.
  • Stuff each apple with the walnut mixture.
  • Serve topped with whipped cream.
