
Pepper Fish Curry
This zesty fish dish, featuring an exceptional blend of curry leaves, spring onion greens, and tangy tamarind, creates a truly irresistible flavor!
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Kingfish
- 10 Small / Pearl onion
- 4-5 pieces Garlic
- 3 Green chilli
- 2 tbsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 cup thick coconut milk
- 2 pieces Cocum (Kudampuli)
- Salt
Instructions
- Wash & drain water from fish. Grind together small onion, garlic, green chilli, black pepper, coriander powder & turmeric powder.
- Put the fish in a pan & add ground paste & mix well with hands. Add enough water & cocum. Cook on low fire until the gravy becomes thick.
- When gravy becomes thick add coconut milk & curry leaves. Cook on low fire & when it starts boiling take it off from stove. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Notes
You can have this with rice or roti or as an appetizer.
