Garlic coconut chutney recipe

Ingredients
- 1 medium sized garlic
- 2-4 red chili
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 marble sized tamarind
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- Salt as per your taste.
Ingredients for tempering:
- 1 red chili
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 4 curry leaves
- 1 tsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Peel the garlic and chop them into pieces.
- Next heat a frying pan, add in a tsp oil and red chilis.
- Once chilis are fried, add in chopped garlic and start frying them under medium flame.
- Fry garlic pieces till they are slightly brown. Do not over fry them.
- Take a mixie jar and add in a cup of grated coconut.
- Followed by add in salt and tamarind.
- Also add in fried garlic and red chili.
- Add in required water and grind it into a smooth paste. Transfer it into a bowl.
- Temper it with oil, red chili, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Serve it with dosa or idli or rice.
