Peel the garlic and chop them into pieces.
Next heat a frying pan, add in a tsp oil and red chilis.
Once chilis are fried, add in chopped garlic and start frying them under medium flame.
Fry garlic pieces till they are slightly brown. Do not over fry them.
Take a mixie jar and add in a cup of grated coconut.
Followed by add in salt and tamarind.
Also add in fried garlic and red chili.
Add in required water and grind it into a smooth paste. Transfer it into a bowl.
Temper it with oil, red chili, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Serve it with dosa or idli or rice.
