
Tang Orange Seasoning
Tang Orange Seasoning is a versatile, citrus-flavored powder known for its sweet and tangy orange taste. Originally designed as a drink mix, it can also be used as a flavoring agent in mocktails, desserts, candies, slushies, and frozen treats. Its bright color and zesty flavor make it a popular choice for refreshing beverages, summer coolers, and creative culinary experiments.
Ingredients
- 4tbsp Tang Orange
- 5nos Plum (fresh)
- 2tbsp Sugar
- 1tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- ½ tsp Black salt
- a tiny pinch Salt
- 2½ cups Water
- handful Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Cut the plums to remove the seed and add them to a pan with sugar and a dash of water. Add roasted cumin powder, salt, black salt and cover and cook them for 10mins or till the plums are tender and mashy. Cool them completely and then puree them.
- In a separate bowl mix together Tang orange, water and some ice.Place 2 chilled glasses and pour the plum puree. You can add extra ice cubes if you want. Place a spoon over the glass and gently pour the tang orange so that it floats over the plum puree. This way of gentle pouring will give 2 separate colours in the drink.Fill it till the top, do not stir and serve.
