Ingredients
- 10 byadgi chillies (less spicy ones)
- 1 1 bulb garlic
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves
- 1 tsp salt or as per your taste
Instructions
- Take all the ingredients as per the measurement. You can replace garlic with onion or 1/4 tsp asafoetida.
- Soak red chillies in hot water for 30 minutes. Please note, soaking red chillies is optional. It makes the grinding process easy.
- Take soaked chillies in a mixie jar. Add in peeled garlic. You can replace garlic with onion or asafoetida (hing).
- Add in coriander and cumin seeds.
- Also add in curry leaves and salt.
- Add in required water little by little. You can use the chilli soaked water.
- Grind it into a smooth paste. Use it like a spread for masala dosa.
