This red chutney is a very easy hotel style chutney recipe. This chutney gives unique taste to masala dosa and enhances the taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 byadgi chillies (less spicy ones)
  • 1 1 bulb garlic
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 tsp salt or as per your taste

Instructions
 

  • Take all the ingredients as per the measurement. You can replace garlic with onion or 1/4 tsp asafoetida.
  • Soak red chillies in hot water for 30 minutes. Please note, soaking red chillies is optional. It makes the grinding process easy.
  • Take soaked chillies in a mixie jar. Add in peeled garlic. You can replace garlic with onion or asafoetida (hing).
  • Add in coriander and cumin seeds.
  • Also add in curry leaves and salt.
  • Add in required water little by little. You can use the chilli soaked water.
  • Grind it into a smooth paste. Use it like a spread for masala dosa.
