Sour Cream Dough for Pierogi
Prepare pierogi with a dough made from sour cream. Fill them with your preferred ingredients, whether it's potatoes and cheese or sauerkraut.
Ingredients
- 6 cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup milk, or more as needed
Instructions
- Whisk flour, salt, eggs, sour cream, and milk together in a bowl. Add extra flour as needed to make dough less sticky.
Notes
- Roll out the dough and cut out 3-inch circles. Add a spoonful of your favorite filling to each circle, then pinch the dough edges together to seal. Boil in salted water for 5 to 10 minutes.
