Negroni
First crafted in Florence in 1919, this vibrant, Campari-based cocktail gained a new wave of popularity a century later, inspiring Negroni Week and the hashtag #negronioclock. With its bold, spirit-forward profile (thanks, gin!) and rich complexity, it’s easy to see why it’s so beloved.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. gin
- 1 oz. sweet vermouth
- 1 oz. Campari
- Orange twist, for serving
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice, then squeeze orange twist over top and drop into glass.
