Mutton Rassa

Ingredients
  

  • Boneless lamb boti – 500gms
  • oil – 200ml
  • Ginger paste – 50 gms
  • Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Peppercorn – 10 nos
  • Onion chopped – 1 1/2 cup
  • Garlic paste – 50gms
  • Coriander powder -2 tbsp
  • Garam masala -1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped – 2 cups

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a thick bottom pan and add pepper corn to it. Then add chopped onions. Saute till light brown, now add the ginger and garlic paste mixed with little water.
  • Add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder. Cook till oil surfaces. Now add the mutton, sprinkle salt and bhuno till 3/4 done.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and bhuno for another 10 mins. Water sufficient water and let it simmer till it is done.
  • The mutton rassa is a thin curry with oil floating on top. It is best had with pao.
