Mojitos by the Pitcher
I've shared this mojito pitcher recipe with individuals who claimed not to enjoy mojitos, and they ended up enjoying it immensely! I attribute its refreshing and delightful taste to the use of fresh ingredients and the muddling of sugar, rather than using simple syrup. While it may require a bit of effort, the end product is certainly worth it. Serve it over ice for the perfect experience.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 36 leaves fresh mint, or to taste
- 3 medium limes, quartered
- 1 cup rum (such as Bacardi)
- 1 liter club soda
Instructions
- Muddle sugar and mint leaves together in a pitcher until leaves are well broken down. Add limes and muddle until limes are juiced. Pour rum into sugar mixture; add club soda and stir until sugar is dissolved.
