Mocha Crunch Bars Recipe
These crispy and crunchy bars are the perfect solution for satisfying sweet cravings. Simple to prepare and serve, they're definitely worth a try!
Ingredients
- ¼ Cup Mud Season – Coffee & Cacao Nib Nut Butter
- 2 tsp espresso powder
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 2 Cup rolled oats
- ¼ Cup honey
- ¼ Cup brown sugar
- ¾ Cup crispy rice cereal
- ½ Cup almonds, sliced
- 4 Tbs coconut oil, unsalted
- ¼ Cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat a medium saucepan or pot on medium-low heat. Add nut butter, honey, brown sugar, and oil.
- Stir to combine all ingredients until dissolved. Set the pot aside to cool to room temperature.
- In a large bowl combine rice cereal, oats, almonds, espresso powder, and cocoa powder. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Pour wet mixture into the bowl and mix ingredients thoroughly together. Set the bowl aside to let cool or reach room temperature. Then mix in the chocolate chips.
- Place granola mixture in bar molds or loaf pan and place in the fridge for one to two hours. Remove bars from the mold and cut as needed. Buon Appetito!
