Microwave Corn on the Cob in the Husk
Microwaving corn in the husk is a simple process and happens to be one of my preferred methods for preparing corn on the cob, especially when dealing with multiple ears. By avoiding the water used in boiling, the corn retains its natural sweetness. I trust this information will assist at least one budding chef in mastering the ideal microwave cooking time for corn.
Ingredients
- 1 ear fresh corn in the husk
Instructions
- Rinse corn in the husk under water briefly. Wrap with a paper towel and place on a microwave-safe plate.
- Cook corn in the microwave until hot and cooked through, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the microwave and let rest for 2 minutes. Remove corn husk.
