Kali Chaudas vada Recipe

This special Multigrain Vada is traditionally made on Kali Chaudas (the day before Diwali), also known as Kakraat na vada or Chhum vada. In some Gujarati families, the ritual of 'kakraat kadhvu' involves placing vadas and other items at crossroads for vehicles to crush, symbolizing the resolution of domestic conflicts.
