Ingredients
  

  • 4 Potatoes – peeled and boiled
  • 1/2 lb Ground beef or lamb
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
  • Add ground beef or lamb, chopped onion, eggs, bread crumbs, turmeric, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well to combine.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into oval or round patties.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the Kotlet patties in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove the Kotlet from the skillet and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  • Serve the Kotlet hot, accompanied by rice, bread, or salad.
