Hot Cappuccino Coffee is a classic Italian beverage made with equal parts of espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam. It's rich, creamy, and has a perfect balance of strong coffee flavor and smooth frothy texture, ideal for a warm and comforting drink any time of the day.

Ingredients
  

  • Instant Coffee powder – 2tbsp
  • Sugar – 2tbsp
  • Hot water – 2tbsp + 2tbsp
  • Milk full fat – 500ml
  • Cinnamon powder – a pinch (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Mix together instant coffee powder, sugar and 2 tbsp of hot water and whisk approx. 3mins it to make it a bit frothy. 
  • Add another 2 tbsp and whisk again. You don't have to make the coffee too frothy as in a cappuccino the milk is frothy and not the coffee. 
  • In a pan heat milk to just under a boil. Remove half of the milk in a separate bowl or a saucepan and place the remains back on heat to boil. 
  • Using an electric whisk or a hand whisk beat the warmed milk so as to froth it. Keep doing it for few minutes till you get a stable froth in the bowl.
  • To prepare a hot cup of cappuccino coffee simply divide the beaten coffee into 2 and pour them in a cappuccino cup. Add boiling milk to each cup (approx. 150ml) and then carefully using a spoon scoop out the froth from the whisked milk and gently place the froth right till the top. Remember that for a cappuccino there has to be a lot of froth on the top of the cup.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top and serve it hot.
