Ingredients
Guava Masala Mojito
- Guava, over ripe (अमरूद) – 2 nos, large
- Sugar (चीनी) – 1½ tbsp
- Black salt (कला नमक) – ½ tsp
- Roasted cumin powder (भुना जीरा) – ½ tsp
- Pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – ½ tsp
- Salt (नमक) – a pinch
- Lemon juice (नींबू रस) – 3 tbsp
- Mint leaves (पुदीना) – handful
- Iced water (बर्फ का पानी) – ¼ cup
- Ice cubes (बर्फ) – few
- Soda water, chilled (सोडा पानी) – to top up
For garnish
- Guava wedge
- Mint leaves
- Paper straw
Instructions
- To prepare Guava Masala Mojito, chop two large overripe guavas. Blend the guava chunks along with sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, pepper powder, a pinch of salt, lemon juice, mint leaves, and iced water until smooth.
- Strain the mixture to remove any pulp or seeds. Pour the guava mixture into glasses filled with ice cubes. Top up each glass with chilled soda water. Garnish the mojitos with a guava wedge, fresh mint leaves, and a paper straw. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing and tangy drink!
