Green peas Kheer recipe

Green Peas Kheer is a unique and flavorful Indian dessert made with fresh green peas, milk, sugar, and cardamom. The peas are either pureed or grated and cooked in milk until thick and creamy. Ingredients
  

  •      Green peas   1/2 cup
  •      Almonds | Badam 15
  •      Milk 4 cups
  •      Milk masala 2 pinches
  •      Sugar    1/3 cup
  •      Ghee 2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Blanch the almonds and take out the skin.
  • Put the peas in hot water for 5 minutes and drain the water completely.
  • If using fresh peas, pressure cook for 1-2 whistles.
  • Grind the almonds and peas into a fine paste. Do not add water. If needed just sprinkle 1 tsp of water.
  • In a pan add ghee and add the ground peas almond paste.
  • Sauté it for 5 minutes in a low flame.
  • Add the milk to this now.
  •   Let this boil in a medium flame for 20 to 25 minutes till the milk thickens slightly and comes to a kheer consistency.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Add the sugar and mix well.
  • Add milk masala to this 
  • Serve chilled.
