Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Beef tenderloin (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 4 cups Egg noodles (cooked)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms until soft and golden brown.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the onions and mushrooms, stirring to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the Beef Stroganoff over cooked egg noodles, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
