Ingredients
  

  • 1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1 ¼ cups water
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 ½ cups jasmine rice

Instructions
 

  • Stir coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt together in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves, 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add rice and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, 18 to 20 minutes.
