Bread And Butter Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
- 6 White bread slices
- Butter (for applying)
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup low calorie sweetener
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- A pinch of nutmeg powder
- 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 180˚C.
- Apply butter on one side and cut each into 4 pieces and set aside.
- Heat milk in a deep saucepan, add the low calorie sweetener and stir till it dissolves. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Take a baking dish and arrange the slices with buttered side up. Set aside.
- Break in the eggs in the saucepan, add vanilla essence and whisk till well combined.
- Add nutmeg powder and green cardamom powder and whisk well. Strain the mixture directly on to the bread.
- Sprinkle raisins and bake for 30 minutes. Take the baking dish out of the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
