Haitian Spaghetti (Spageti) Recipe

Haitian Spaghetti (Spageti) Recipe

The origins of Haitian spaghetti date back to the early 20th century when Italian immigrants began arriving in Haiti. Over time, Haitians adapted spaghetti to their own culinary traditions, creating a distinctive dish that has evolved away from traditional Italian recipes. Haitian spaghetti, or spaghetti, is a popular dish featuring spaghetti noodles, onions, peppers, and a tomato-based sauce. The sauce is seasoned with a variety of spices and is commonly served with sides like fried plantains or bread.
