Veg Chowmein or Stir-Fried Noodles

Veg Chowmein is a popular Indo-Chinese dish made with boiled noodles stir-fried with a mix of colorful vegetables like cabbage, capsicum, carrots, and spring onions. Ingredients
  

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
  • Garlic chopped – 1 tsp
  • Onion sliced – ½ cup
  • Cabbage shredded – 1 cup
  • Carrot julienne – 1/2 cup
  • Peppers shredded – 1 cup
  • Noodles boiled – 2 cups
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Green Chilli sauce – 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pan to high heat and add oil. Add ginger & garlic and give a quick stir. Now add sliced onions, cabbage, carrots and peppers. Toss them for 2 minutes on high heat.
  • Add boiled noodles, soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper power and toss the noodles for 3 mins. Sprinkle spring onions, mix and remove from heat. Serve immediately.
