- Sesame Seeds, White (तिल) – 1 cup + 2 tbsp (170 gms)
- Black Cardamom (काली ईलाइची) – 2-3 nos
- Jaggery, crushed (गुड) – ¾ cup (150 gms)
- Almonds (बादाम) – ¼ cup
- Peanuts (मूँगफली) – ¼ cup
- Pista (पिस्ता) – ¼ cup
- Cashews (काजू) – ¼ cup
- Walnut (अखरोट) – ¼ cup
- Desi Ghee (देसी घी) – 1 tbsp
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add white sesame seeds and seeds of black cardamom, then roast them until they turn golden brown. Keep stirring to avoid burning. Once done, transfer the roasted sesame seeds to a plate and let them cool.Grind the roasted sesame coarsely, then add some jaggery and grind it again. The mixture is ready. In the same pan, add almonds, peanuts, pista, cashews, and walnuts. Roast the nuts until they become crunchy. Make sure not to burn them. Once roasted, let the nuts cool and then chop them into small pieces. Crush the dry fruits in a mixer grinder. Add it to the mixture and mix well. Heat 1 tbsp of desi ghee. Pour the melted ghee over the mixture and mix thoroughly. This helps in binding the ingredients.
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into laddus (round balls). Repeat for the entire mixture. Coat the laddus with roasted sesame and Til Gur Laddu is ready to be served! Enjoy!
