- 100 grams Seedless tamarind
- 200 grams Jaggery
- 200 grams Seedless Dates
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Cumin and coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
- 3 cups Water
In a big bowl, take Tamarind, jaggery and dates.
Add water. Pressure cook this mixture for 2 whistles.
Let the pressure cooker cool down completely. In a grinder or with hand blender, grind this whole mixture until gets smooth. Add some water if required.
Strain the mixture through a strainer.
Season this chutney with salt, chili powder, cumin and coriander powder. Mix it very well.
Your Sweet Chutney / Dates and Tamarind Chutney is ready. Store this Chutney in an air tight container in the freezer.
