Pesto Hummus with Crispy Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 2cups Chickpeas (Boiled)
  • 2tbsp Tahini
  • ½ cup Lemon juice
  • 2nos Garlic cloves
  • to taste Salt
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil Virgin
  • 1cup Basil leaves
  • 3tbsp Pinenuts
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • a pinch Red Chilli Powder
  • few Olives
  • handful Bread Slices (toasted)

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender except for red chilli powder, olives and bread.
  • Blend it into a smooth puree. If the grinder is very sluggish then you can add extra olive oil or a dash of chickpea water.
  • Remove the pureed chickpeas to a bowl and garnish with chilli powder and olives. Serve it with toasted bread.
