- 2cups Chickpeas (Boiled)
- 2tbsp Tahini
- ½ cup Lemon juice
- 2nos Garlic cloves
- to taste Salt
- ¼ cup Olive Oil Virgin
- 1cup Basil leaves
- 3tbsp Pinenuts
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- a pinch Red Chilli Powder
- few Olives
- handful Bread Slices (toasted)
Place all the ingredients in a blender except for red chilli powder, olives and bread.
Blend it into a smooth puree. If the grinder is very sluggish then you can add extra olive oil or a dash of chickpea water.
Remove the pureed chickpeas to a bowl and garnish with chilli powder and olives. Serve it with toasted bread.
