Paneer Skewers
Juicy cubes of paneer marinated in spiced yogurt with herbs, threaded on skewers with colorful vegetables, and grilled to smoky perfection for a flavorful Indian starter.

- Paneer – 250 gms
- Besan – 4 tbsp
- Turmeric – 3 tsp
- Chilli flakes – 3 tsp
- Yellow chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Black pepper – 1tsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Lemon – 1no
- Garlic chopped – 2 tbsp
- Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
- Ginger paste – 2 tsp
- Wooden skewers -12 nos
Cut paneer into batons of 3 inch long. Sprinkle salt, half the turmeric, ginger and garlic paste. Keep aside in a warm place for half hour. Drain the water and keep aside.
Heat oil and add besan to it. Cook on a very low heat till besan lightly browns. Remove from fire, add the turmeric and let it cool.
Now in this besan squeeze lemon, add salt, chilli flakes, chopped garlic, yellow chilli powder and black pepper.
Marinate the paneer in this marinade, skewer them and keep aside for 15 mins.
Heat a pan and drizzle oil, now cook the paneer on all sides till it browns. Once done sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot with a fresh salad.
