Khichdi Kebab
Khichdi Kebab is a unique fusion snack made by transforming traditional khichdi into flavorful kebabs. Blended with spices, herbs, and a binding agent, these kebabs are pan-fried or shallow-fried until golden and crisp on the outside while remaining soft inside. - Khichadi (thick) – 2 cups
- Green chilly chopped – 1no
- coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
- Breadcrumbs – 2 tbsp
- Potato boiled & mashed – 2 1/2 tbsp
- Onion chopped – 2 tbsp
- Ginger chopped – 1/2 tbsp
- Cheese grated – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Breadcrumbs for coating
- oil – for deep frying
In a bowl mix all the ingredients except breadcrumbs and oil.
Shape it into small bite-size balls or to the size of ping pong balls. Roll each of them in dried breadcrumbs. Lightly pat and roll so that the crumbs are evenly coated.
Refrigerate them for at least 30mins.
Heat oil and deep fry them till golden brown. Remove and serve hot.
