Egyptian Sobia Recipe
Sobia is particularly popular during the holy month of Ramadan and is commonly enjoyed to break the fast at Iftar, the evening meal when Muslims end their daily fast at sunset.

- 2 tbsp Dry uncooked rice
- 1 cup Water
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Powdered milk
- 2 cups Coconut milk
- ½ tsp Vanilla
Grind the rice into a fine powder.
Add the rice powder to the water and let it soak for at least 6 hours in the fridge.
In a blender, add the rice with the water and the rest of the ingredients together.
Blend very well.
Strain with cheese cloth or a fine strainer.
Chill for 2-3 hours then serve.
