For Batter
- Butter, unsalted (मखन) – 180 gms/ ¾ cup
- Sugar, fine grain (चीनी) – 180 gms/ 15 tbsp
- Vanilla essence (वनिला) – 2 tsp
- Curd (दही) – 150 gms/ ½ cup
- Banana, medium (केला) – 2 nos
- Cashew nuts (काजू) – 50 gms/ ⅓ cup
- All-purpose flour (मैदा) – 180 gms/ 1 cup+2 tbsp
- Baking Powder (बेकिंग पाउडर) – 1 tsp
- Baking soda (बेकिंग सोडा) – 1 tsp
- Strawberry (स्ट्रोबेरी) – 12 nos
For Icing
- Cream cheese (क्रीम चीज़) – 100 gms
- Sugar, Powdered (चीनी) – 75 gms
- Whipped cream (फिट्टी हुई क्रीम) – 80 gms
For Garnish
- Strawberries – few
- Sugar Balls – handful
For Cake Batter
Soak the cashews for an hour and then puree them in a blender along with banana and yogurt. Roughly chop the strawberries and keep aside.Begin by creaming together butter and sugar. Add in the cashew banana paste and mix together. Now add in the dry ingredients and with a spatula fold them into the batter. Drop the strawberries and fold again.
