- Coriander leaves (chopped) – 2 cups
- Mint leaves – ¾ cup
- Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
- Ginger chopped – 2tsp
- Green chilli – 1no
- Salt – to taste
- Black salt – ½ tsp
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp
- Lemon – 1no
- Ice cubes – few
- Water – a dash
Put all the ingredients together in a wet grinder and blend into a fine paste. Crushed Ice is added to keep the temperature of the chutney low which in turn increases shelf life of the chutney, makes it more flavourful and retains a bright green colour.
Use crushed ice or iced water while grinding the mint chutney to maintain the cold temperature to give it a longer shelf life and a brighter colour with a great taste.
