- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
Use a pastry blender or fork to blend together flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a large bowl until crumbly. Reserve 3/4 cup flour mixture to use as topping.
